My artistic passion centers on spatial and contextual intersections; the meeting of man made forms with nature, the boundary between land and sea, the contrast of the old and weathered with the new and beautiful. Through the medium of photography, I attempt to seek out, capture and convey these dynamic intersecting themes. I also use digital manipulation techniques on some images to push the contrast of elements to extremes creating new realities.
I divide my time between studio product photography, travel and tourism work, and digital imaging. I also spend time in the classroom teaching photography courses at Ohio University.
